Tracy Morton Memorial Chapel has been serving Pensacola area families for years. We are honored to be a part of the rich history of this community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come.

Tracy Morton, a young and aspiring entrepreneur, began her journey at Joe Morris and Son Funeral Home, where the late Joe Morris Jr. allowed her to begin an apprenticeship. During the course of her time at the funeral home, she discovered her calling. Following graduation from Pensacola High School in 1998, she immediately relocated to Miami, Florida in pursuit of her degree in Mortuary Science while enrolled at Miami-Dade College.

Upon graduating from college and the completion of one year of internship at Shuler’s Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach, Florida, she successfully passed her boards; therefore, becoming a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Tracy has visited and worked at various funeral homes in order to experience and to learn first hand how different cultures funeralize their loved ones. She later became a loyal employee at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. There she worked for 5 years, becoming a great asset to the company.

Because of her love for this industry and dedication, in a short span of time, she has mastered the fine art of serving families during their most difficult time of need. Throughout the travels in her career, she always knew she wanted to move back home to Pensacola to open her own funeral home, as a service to the community.
