Cinthia Walker Boyd, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was the first child born to Tyler Walker Sr. and Thelma Powell Walker in Montgomery, Alabama. In 1962, Cinthia joined Greater Union Baptist Church on Easter Sunday. During her 50 years at Greater Union, she served as a faithful member and held positions such as Director of the Wellness Committee, church columnist for the monthly newspaper, The Observer, and Woman's Day Speaker.

In 1968, Cinthia graduated from Washington High School, Pensacola, Florida. In 1972, She joined the United States Army and served three years. She later pursued nursing and received Two Associate Science Degrees in Nursing from Pensacola Junior College. Cinthia was a Registered Nurse and worked at Sacred Hospital for 33 years. Some of her positions included a Registered Nurse, an OBGYN Charge Nurse and her most recent position was House Supervisor.

Preceding her in death was Cintha's Father Tyler Walker Sr. Survivors include one son, Nikki Frederick Boyd. Her Mother, Thelma Powell Walker. Four brothers, Tyler (Vickie) Walker Jr., Stanley (Paulette) Walker, Kenneth (Lumper) Walker Sr. and Richard (Brenda) Walker. One sister, Karen Denise Walker. One grand daughter, Keyera Boyd, one grandson, Gabriel Michael Boyd and one cousin Randy (Rosie) McCord. Four nieces, two nephews and a host of cousins.

Elbert was born on November 23, 1955 to Missouri Wallace Shumake and Elmore Williams in Pensacola, FL, he transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday, February 11, 2012 after a very lengthy illness.

Elbert was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers, Sam Shumake, Jr. and John Curtis Shumake, his mother-in-law, Mattie Watson, father-in-law, Alford Watson and grandson, Ke'Wan Shumake.

Elbert will be deeply missed by many, his survivors include his wife of 36 years, Shirley (Watson) Shumake; his children, Doska Shumake and Chabrika Shumake of Mississippi and Elbert (Ebony) Shumake of Tampa, FL; brothers, Milton Shumake and Jessie Lee Shumake of Pensacola; sisters, Nina (Eddie) Locke, Williemae (Joseph) Stanberry and Alfreda Shumake, all of Pensacola; brothers-in-law, Milford (Fannie) Graphenreed of St. Louis; Fred (LaTonya) Graphenreed of Pensacola, Roy (Velda) Graphenreed of Mississippi, James Sims of California and Alfred (Pamela) Watson of Pensacola; sisters-in-law, Linda (James, II) Clay and Jackie Jackson of Mississippi and Barbara Watson of Pensacola; grandchildren, Latric Shumake, Deyontrae Shumake, Niaeshia Nicholson, Alaysia Jones, Kau'wan Shumake, Ja'elan Shumake, Jordan Adams and Vanquest Adams of Mississippi and Elbert Shumake, III of Tampa; god-daughter, Melanie Watson of Pensacola; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and a special group of ladies lovingly called his "other wives".

He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Letha Wiggins; two sons, Lavord (Doodie) Wiggins, Jr. and Ladarius (LD) Wiggins of Pensacola; step-daughter, Shontay Jones of Pensacola; the love of his life, Tanisha Jones; two brothers, James O. Ball (Authurine) of Moss Point, MS and Adrian M. Wiggins of Hattisburg, MS; five uncles and 6 aunties; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
